The national debt clock in Times Square had been going backwards for the last two years before it was dismantled. It may have been going forward for the first few years but we had the Reagan-Bush S+L debacle and the arms race to pay off, and also SS going broke. Give Clinton great credit for finally turning this around with 8 years of growth and prosperity. You are in total denial if you ignore these obvious facts. If Bush gets elected expect the national debt to accelerate again. His policies are much the same as Reagan's and history will repeat itself.

It's not aperect world but when it comes to national debt Bush is clearly the worst candidate. He doesn't even address the issue much less put forward ideas to help solve the problem. Adn your big tax-cut - right onto the national credit card. It's simple math. But I;'m sure you just don't want to get it.
