Duke, I agree with bob here. It is best if the public is allowed to know slowly but continuously and that too through analysts, imho. Otherwise, it produces wild gyrations due to inability of the analysts to anticipate the results to the penny. Selective disclosure also allows analysts to defend a stock. Otherwise, we will hear too much from company execs leading to more distraction for them than necessary...
