Al Gore, today: "I want to give more inclusion, investment and growth. I want to have the kinds of priorities in this country that enable us to have more jobs. The engine of growth is the private sector."

If Gore wants more investment, why does he oppose the Bush tax cuts? What does he think the rich are going to do with what they receive, put it under a mattress? Wrong, it will be invested to fund new companies and provide more jobs for American workers.

Also, if "the engine of growth is the private sector", why is Gore constantly bashing oil companies, pharmaceutical companies, etc.? Americans work at those companies and have their pensions and 401k's invested in those companies. Why does Gore want so much tear apart the economy he so loudly claims credit for?
