I havn't seen any comments by the experts on this old press release last month. INVX has licensed the technology now to two other companies. Is this a big deal ? Stock price doesn't seem to make it so? Comments?

Innovex Unveils Revolutionary Suspension Product With Unprecedented Performance
DISKCON TRADE SHOW, San Jose, Calif., Sep 19, 2000 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- Innovex, Inc. (Nasdaq: INVX chart, msgs) introduced today its Flex Gimbal Suspension Assembly (FgSA(TM)) product line, which provides significant improvement in suspension performance for disk drives. This innovative product eliminates the suspension assembly stainless steel gimbal component, which has been used almost exclusively since the early days of disk drive technology. The conventional stainless steel gimbal is replaced by a proprietary flexible circuit gimbal with superior performance. FgSA was developed jointly by Innovex and Applied Kinetics Inc., a privately held developer of disk drive related technology based in Hutchinson, Minn. Technical product details will be available at Innovex's DISKCON exhibition booth on Wednesday, September 20, 2000.

"FgSA products have achieved record reductions in pitch and roll stiffness while virtually eliminating undesired temperature and humidity effects," commented Ryan A. Jurgenson, Applied Kinetics' President. "FgSA enables considerable improvement in aerial density at a price that is at least 30% below the price of competing wireless suspension technologies," he added.

"Historical attempts to using a flexible circuit gimbal reacted adversely to humidity by changing the pitch angle of the recording head," stated Mark T. Girard, Applied Kinetics' Vice President and inventor of FgSA. "FgSA uses a proprietary design, which enables a very narrow static angle distribution and virtually eliminates a change in pitch angle as a result of a humidity cycle," he added.

"FgSA provides Innovex with 'Best in Class' performance in all categories," stated William P. Murnane, Innovex's President and CEO. "Our flexible circuit process provides electrical designers with unlimited design options, allowing them to 'dial-in' the electrical properties they need, and FgSA 'leapfrogs' the competition in mechanical performance. Customers have informed us that FgSA accelerates their technology roadmaps by as much as two years. Disk drive manufacturers are very excited about this revolutionary new product and we are confident that FgSA will achieve significant market success," he added

Thanks for any imput.
