Gore's Seinfeld Support
Jerry Seinfeld has never spoken out in favor of a presidential candidate before - until now.

The New York Daily News reports that the comedian is worried about George W. Bush's intellect. "Anyone who has ever hired someone knows the only thing you go by is brains," Seinfeld told the newspaper.

So, Seinfeld has endorsed Al Gore. He said he's speaking out because he's afraid of a Bush win on Election Day.

He added that the Bush folks "are trying to cover up the fact that they're trying to eliminate a woman's right to choose. There's a lot at stake."

Seinfeld's support for Gore mirrors a few other Hollywood types: supermodel Christie Brinkley, Kim Basinger, Basinger's husband Alec Baldwin and director Robert Altman, with the last two saying they'd leave the country if Bush is elected president.

Another Glamour-ous Endorsement For Gore
A recent Gore press release makes it look like the campaign is promoting any good news it receives - even an endorsement by Glamour Magazine.

The magazine, making its first-ever presidential endorsement, calls Gore "the far stronger candidate for women," according to a news release.

"Women's futures hinge on how we pull the levers on November 7," the magazine continues in its November 2000 issue. Gore "is committed to supporting women's health, safety and independence."

No word yet on whether Elle, Cosmopolitan or Marie Claire magazines are going to announce their presidential choices.
