Cosmic, I suspect that the safest thing to do if you are an atheist going to prison is check "other". all that the data shows is that .09% weren't concerned about checking the atheist box.

We have a local group of volunteer ladies here that run a shop called "Castaways", that resells donated goods, and uses the proceeds to buy equipment for our local EMS, for instance. When I donated some items, I was asked "what church do you wanted these goods credited to", I replied that I was an atheist, And I preferred that she would write that next to my name for that donation. She refused. I was not surprised at all.
