From Briefing.com: 15:09 ET Nortel Networks (NT): Rumors made the rounds on trading floors that company was calling analysts and guiding numbers lower; this appears to have been untrue (and now illegal as well). Also rumors that Goldman was cutting numbers; but Goldman denies this. It appears that the rumors might have stemmed from estimate reductions at Dresdner which simply reflect Tuesday's disappointing report.
