I like Greenspan, too, but I'm not sure he would want the job. I like him where he is now as Chair of the Federal Reserve, and that is why I will vote for Al Gore because Greenspan seems to have influenced Gore from past comments Gore has made, even b4 he was nominated for Vice President.
Also, I vote for Gore because a woman has a right to choose whether or not she wants an abortion. Gore says he'll balance the budget. If he wins, we have to make him stick to his decision.
What I recall about Reagan was big deficits. Spend on Star Wars, spend on the military, spend, spend, spend........
But, according to news reports that quoted his wife, Reagan never shed a tear when he learned she had breast cancer, and his indifference put some distance between them. |
