after Pearl Harbor, an investigation was made into how such a thing could happen, and to determine who was responsible. Although the investigation took a breather because of the war itself, two high ranking military officers were found to have been derelict on the job, and they got their asses kicked.

59 years later, the statements out of Washington from the Navy are that we cannot defend against acts like that, etc. In other words, coverup. The response today from the US government is massivly evasive vs. the attitude in the 40's.

The fact that there is a coverup going on is just more evidence of a chain of command that is out of control, and all the more reason to replace it. How many more need to die before people wake up?
