Hi sir

Telling me to throw out the charts is like asking a dog not to scratch.<g>

I honestly go to great lengths each day to separate myself from fundamentals so I can stay focused on the math behind the charts i.e. the indicators.

I do depend on you and others like you to tell me what you think and I deeply respect your views. You and I both know that the months of September and October are very volatile market months. We still have a few days to go before we are officially in our fall season with the potential of a new market run into the Christmas season.

That said a factoid or two some of which may be mixed with some of my opinion.

1- The past 8 Mondays have been sell off days in the Nasdaq.

2- The Nasdaq is still in an official down trend.

3- There was a slow stochastic sell signal confirmed today.

Opps Im scratching again!<g>

4- Today's trading range stayed confined within Wednesday's trading range making Wednesday's high and low short term upper resistance and lower support. (scratch)

At any rate I realize that your post is much more forward looking in the time frame which you referenced in comparison to my "take". Ive begun to focus on the next day only because of this shake out and Im not ready to call a bottom here. Im also not always right!
