Gulo, Welfare.... I see you want all the same things we socialists want.........Hmmmm....I hope under your system your not the only one being so generous with your donations to charity. I do believe your Canada won't be recognizable if left to the forces of human nature :-0 much the same as the not so free market, but that's another matter. HEALTH CARE.... It always puzzles me how one puts a price on ones pain and suffering, it seems to me the care I would give to my animal friends must some how be a "RIGHT" for humans, that is the "RIGHT to be FREE of pain and suffering". I guess it must be a matter of priorities, god only knows we need to see a profit or it couldn't be efficient, could it ? On the subject of "profit becomes efficiency" in my forty years in upper management I can bare witness to more hair curling activities then I care to remember :( Not to say that everyone was of questionable character but when push came to shove to save ones a$$ (profit) anything goes !! Why is it that we always HEAR that governments are "inefficient" and the private sector is "efficient" couldn't be a campaign... no...I must be paranoid. Corporate welfare is at an all time high, bankruptcies are common place, how do you see this as efficient ? Governments are scrutinized by people like yourself, who scrutinizes the private sector ?...the share holders ? (Bre-X) Something like the banks who out of the goodness of their heart protect or money ! NOT <<ggggggg>> AAAhhhhh!!! We can all rest assured though, are best interest are taken care of in the board rooms of North America, after the PP's and Options for all those hard working Directors (buddies at "shortest" arms length) that are working on your behalf ! <<<ggggggggggggg>>>>>> Respct, Gerry
