We have been side tracked by more fundamental analysis of economy and perhaps its leading indicators. I will try to put it to rest.

While the future of our economy is a leading indicator of the stock market; the economy is now controlled by the obsolescence and replacement of products and services in the market place. When you no longer have anything to buy, the economy will tank and the stock market will retrench.

That can not happen; unless you don't study the social environment(meaning the waste people dispose). As long as the waste study includes old possessions being discarded, we will have a good economy forever. I still see people throwing out 1970s high fidelity equipment as I drive by; so I am confident of our economy going forward when people finally replacing their old beloved antiques of anything. Wall street should look at social study as a leading indicator like I do, because this is where obsolescence and replacement theory meets the main street.

Good luck on all your investment whether it is stock or bonds or anything else which gives you higher standard of living. You become a defender of our booming economy.
