I would need a quick advice on this one...
I just bought an Asus A7V (w TB 900) and it won't auto-detect my Maxtor 51536H2 (15.3 GB, 7200rpm, ATA-100) (probably too recent drive).
I'm using the 1.004C bios on the asus. I tried to enter the HDD spec manually but without success (I'm not sure about the Multi-Sector Transfer, Monitoring, PIO and UDMA settings but I verified my cyl 16383, head 32, sectors 32)
The bios autocalculate the drive'S size to 16.9 GB when the specs size is 15.3 Gig.

I heard about a non-official 1.004D bios rev (should I upgrade? it's to make a little server-workstation and it gotta be stable)

I know it's sligthly OT, sorry, if you know where I could get a quick solution, it's kind of an emergency.

Thanks a lot

Max
