Using Christianity to justify slavery is a mistake in doctrine.

I've already posted to you to prove it was anything but a mistake in doctrine, The doctrine in both the New and the Old Testaments SUPPORT SLAVERY. What mistake in doctrine??

You could use scripture to justify anything, as the saying goes

That is correct. I wonder why that is? Some moral code, eh?

delusions caused by religious beliefs would be among the most common. I do not reject religion for that reason. You do.

You don't know that I reject all religious belief, and you certainly don't know my reasons for rejecting any religious belief.

I don't really want to continue the discussion.

Well, don't then. I have watched as people on this thread tried to lead you to the horse trough of reason. However, you have always gone into a song and dance routine that would make the Hope/Crosby crowd smile.

If you are truly unwilling to put your Faith on the line, and have it judged before the Court of Reason, well...why not go shopping or hit an all u can eat buffet. I say that very seriously. You are wasting your time here, and you are probably a very decent person. Why throw away your time in a mileau that can gain you nothing except sinking in your heels and hiding your ankles??
