If You Do Start That Thread Let Me Know

I have enjoyed and learned from your comments and the experiences they are based on.

There are only two problems I have experienced shorting a stock that I know is being shorted by some "fellow Investors".

At times it creates the possibility of a squeeze, although I think that what often gets called a squeeze is generally a combination of factors which have the result of squeezing the shorts. The other is the potential to drive up the price when it comes to cover. I try to stay away from real popular "shorts" for this reason.

While I had resisted "day trading" for quite a while I have found that given the volatility that has been focused on the opens that the transaction costs associated with closing and opening positions on a daily basis, as well as the possibility of loosing overnight gains is more than offset by eliminating the downside surprises, as well as the frequent opportunity to actually improve the position when you put it back on.

Now this doesn't apply to my OOTM poots. Thoses are investments. <gg>

I have been trading full time for a while now and I guess if that makes me a "day trader" so be it.
