attack ads run by an unknown third party that were similar to the "Daisy" ads run in 1964 by LBJ.

BUSH DENOUNCED THE "DAISY" AD"!!

And how do you figure this is any worse than that NAACP ads that they are running against Bush where they have the daughter of the black man who was dragged by those 3 white supremists, claiming that she is tortured all over again by the fact that Bush didn't support THEIR version of hate crimes legislation..

This, despite the fact that 2 of the 3 received death sentences that hate crimes legislation would NOT have altered.

DO NOT BLAME BUSH FOR THIS SOFT MONEY AD, UNLESS YOU ARE WILLING TO BLAME GORE FOR THE NAACP AD!!!

And frankly, as you know, LBJ was a LIBERAL democrat who first used that ad against Goldwater... so either someone wanted some "payback" with regard to Gore and the China scandal, or it might have even been paid for by a Gore supporter, for all we know.

You're the one who started this thread... And for you to simply call an ad that Bush has denounced as your final "straw" is incredibly unfair.

Both of this guys HAVE VERY POWERFUL FRIENDS. That's why Ed Asner is out there scaring the begeezus out of seniors claiming that Bush want's to destroy social security.

Make you decision to vote how you like.. but by god make it for a reason that has nothing to do with this 3rd party propaganda.

I'VE EXPLAINED VERY CLEARLY WHY SOCIAL SECURITY, IN ITS CURRENT FORM IS A PONZI SCHEME that will devastate this country 20 years from now.

Bush is trying to do something about it, namely getting that money out of politicians hands so they don't obligate the government to more entitlement spending that can never be cut....

Gore is for the status quo, spending the surplus on entilements, and not for restructuring and restoring the integrity of the program.

Now if you want to retire and get that SS.. you'd be better advised in pondering that, and forget about the daisy commercials.

Regards,

Ron
