If true, this is the best news I've heard in a while for Rambus. Higher royalties for DDR and DDR controllers and Rambus gets to keep its 4,000,000 shares in stock warrants. Meanwhile, Intel loses marketshare to AMD because they can not differentiate their products from AMD's. It looks like Intel is becoming a follower. Barrett is a poor successor to Grove, IMO.
