Hi odb,

I "get around" in my lurking so even though you don't post much post much here I have at least a "passing acquaintance" with your perspective. Even though many of your question are rhetorical, for the sake your "food for thought", I'll respond.

It is my belief that while there are almost an infinite number of different games being played in the market, some are more important (more money involved) than others. One of the most important is the game played between the brokerage houses and the various funds (pension, mutual, etc). Me, I'm just a mite hopping around, trying to catch a ride on the big guys and perhaps pick up a crumb or two. So who has the money? The funds (there was all that tax loss selling). Who has inventory? The houses. All that is needed is a catalyst (belief that an anticipated rally is starting to happen) to transfer the money from the funds to the houses. Now I know this seems simple to the point of simplistic, but KISS does work.

BTW, yes I am a LTB&H type as long as I believe we're in a secular bull market (although I have no position in JNPR).

As you say, good luck.
