We are very polarized. I think George Bush is a man of great character and integrity. I think our children are presently being "dumbed" down under the present administration that throws money without a plan or accountability on the part of the system. Bush has done a great job in Texas in bringing education up. I believe the blacks in the 4th grade in Texas just recently scored the highest in the nation in reading. Bush will bring the administration of education as close to home as possible while retaining an overview and testing requirements, in order to get federal money, so that we can insure the schools are teaching and the children are learning. It is what is needed in America. We want every child to progress but we don't want regression to a lower mean. We want to bring every child up to the highest level they can attain.
