first off... if you post this on anymore threads, the SI spambot is likely to suspend your acct <ng>.

now, it's best to provide a real example.

in this case I see several problems... first is that you're more than likely to be assigned on your DITM puts sold.

2nd problem is that your broker will want the prem rec'd to be in cash and on top of that, you have to provide collateral (cash or securities).

and no, you don't pay taxes (or loss) until you close your puts.
