I could not resist the catchy SI thread title of The Coming Financial Collapse of 2001 and viewed it. Big topic. Subject 37210 The folks at that thread sound very much like the folks at this one, smart, considered but generally on the unbullish side, not in a raving manner. More importantly, they are trying to figure out money making schemes in a down market. I do not know the folks there and I do not know how they respond to differing opinions. They seem fun and can talk learned stuff like poetry.
