Someone mentioned (in this weeks barron's I seem to recall) that they thought CPQ as a good value in that a lot of folks have priced a slowdown in the PC sector.
I'm of the opinion one needs to have a reason for owning a stock (expecially now.........bearish behavior). That means find a sector or stock with a event on the horizon (eg like ELBO with the roll over of hardware) or simply find dirt cheap stocks that were punished unfairly or mgmt is committed to monitizing value.
Once could cite the growth thingy, but investors have bid growth stocks to the moon to the point where they need become out of favor before real values can be found.
