GerPol: Venomous? Is it possible that there aren't a lot of posts because: 1. Canadian Politics is boring 2. There are more Americans than Canadians on SI and they are already involved in their own election so won't have the time or inclination to drop by here 3. Canadians aren't capable of debating things that are important because we are accustomed to accepting whatever the media throws at us 4. Canadians really are disillusioned enough to avoid politics 5. Canadians are so overtaxed that they spend all their time working their little butts off instead of engaging in things such as political, philosophical or other debates? With all due respect, sir, I suspect that you are afraid that you will be "attacked" from all flanks if you jump onto this thread and profess to be Liberal or NDP or Separatist. If you live your beliefs, a challenge won't destroy them. I have wandered onto a couple of threads on the SI Coffee Shop and been clearly told if I didn't agree with the thread I could leave. That, in my opinion, is childish. But good debate, my good fellow, is entertaining and enlightening. You were saying?... canuck-l-head
