JC, hate to disappoint you! gg I don't pay taxes on trading US equities! I buy and sell stocks, with 2 dollars margin per trade. My only expense is 10 cents in brokerage commissions, and 10 cents per share in cantonal stamps. That means 4 cents out of two dollars margin. The rest goes to my pocket. This is the reason I can tarde in and out on daily basis with 2 dollars margin. On long term holdings there are no taxes either. We can buy shares keep them 10 years and even if we have 1500% gain, still we pay 10 cents
Cantonal stamps and 10 cents brokerage. Same goes to bonds.
No capital gains tax. Instead, we pay income and property taxes, we pay 4 dollars per gallon, and everything is expensive. So, the gov. gets you at the end!
