z, Agreed. I like ALA, SBC and one or 2 others in this space right now. NT, SCMR, CIEN and others are attempting to round out there offerings presently to better serve this space. I expect another round of acquisitions over the next several months to indicate this. CSCO's Cerent product has been doing well but the next gen box can't compete in regards to port density and scalability from what I have heard. It may need another boost, but it does have the CSCO marketing clout behind it to keep it afloat for now. SCMR has Sirocco, but there have been few sightings so far, with most coming from abroad. tp
