Hi tp, I do grow weary of reading PR that say a contract valued at up to....what? The sky? Pie in the sky? Pie in your eye? The number is a totally meaningless fiction. Can the rest of the message follow? So, Astral Point is doing some business with TW Telecom. AFAIK, this isn't the Roadrunner people, but some new division. Is that correct? And as such, do they have a customer base or are they yet another customer-free over-builder? Project Pronto has been well discussed over at the "Last Mile" thread. Basically, the design is brilliant in its approach to stymieing the CLECs on the UNE issue. The NGDLCs are being designed so that they can neither be used for colo nor can they upgrade beyong ADSL levels of service. Future proofing SBC from two things it wants to avoid, competition and the "creative destruction" of SBC plant. Re: Equipe - I was previously unaware of the company, thanks for the clip. How many of these networkers are out there? Sheesh, somedays I get the feeling that ratio of network providers to network company customers is approaching 1:1..... Bon Chance, Ray
