Check out Mongolia Gold Resources Ltd.'s release on Monday for an update on what the Presidential election in Mongolia means to western companys. Yes, we have a vested interest in the country, but we've been in the country early, and have worked with all partys there.

By the way, the label "ex-communist"?? Everyone in the Soviet-block was a communist... Mongolias laws INTRODUCED by the president-elect's party are very conservative, and perhaps a little to the right of Reagan's politics. Not every policy though, principally the economic ones. After all, in Mongolia, under the president-elect's party, expropriation of foreign assets are specifically prohibited, unlike in the US or Canada. Ask Royal Oak Mines Inc. where the political risks are.
