"Gimme an M...M, gimme an O...O!!"...hey, save that crap for the privacy of your own home where you can dress up in your little miniskirt, pull out your pom-poms and cheer for all your favorite has-been SI gurus.
It's apparent that others both here (on his own thread) and throughout SI consider this man a danger to newbies and simply someone who is so self righteous that even he does not seem to realize when a bad call is a bad call...I know EVERYONE makes bad calls every now and then, the difference here is that Mogul has a penchant for refusing to admit his errors and move on, whether they be his lousy calls on gold, the markets in general, or specific stock picks and if you review the thread, there are about 5 bad calls to every decent one (in actuality, I'd challenge ANYONE here to tell me the ONE decent call he has made here).
Again, we all make errors, but this guy seems hellbent on protecting a guru image which probably never existed in the first place...nothing personal, just the facts.
p.s. Your note indicates that perhaps I'm upset about the markets selling off...as I've indicated on this and many other places, I sold most of my holdings in the markets some time ago, so while I still have enough to hold my interest, not near enough now to keep me awake at night (but I would guess its about 10 times your net worth).
p.s.s. Your profile indicates that you invest in anything net and mojo...now isn't that an oxymoron considering there is no mojo in net these days??...if you're ANYTHING net you must have had some incredible drubbing this past yr and for that I feel your pain...my condolences. |
