But The Market Is So Forward Looking

Let's say I accept the premise that we will go to 3800 and then crash.

The problem is I know that everyone else is thinking the same thing. So I'm not going to wait until we get to 3800 I'm getting out at 3790.

And so on.

I'm not saying it happens Monday. But it isn't clear that it won't. And if not Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday, or not this week but next, or the one after that.

Here we are at the picnic. We come to understand that a time bomb may explode at any moment.

I think I'll go home and watch it on TV rather than wait to find out when up close and personal.

To each his own. I just wouldn't be so sure. Someone will be the last one to leave. We may even think that person is a genius. The problem is whenever it happens there will be someone who was the last to leave, and someone who was the first to die.

They seem to be running out of beer anyway.
