I don't lie and I would not support someone who I thought was of questionable moral character. However, I believe that you are acting more naive than you are when you make the statement that you would not support a liar. I know you are smart enough to realize that Bush has told lies, including lying during the three Presidential debates. I also know that you are aware of the fact that a President's duty is to give less than full disclosure most of the time. This includes shielding secrets not only from our enemies, but also our allies and the American public itself. I know that you realize that this is a cold and, occasionally, terrible world. Terrorist strike unarmed American civilians. Nations in the middle east would like to destroy our country. You can't tell me that a reasonable person would expect the President to sacrifice this country to follow his duty to always tell the truth. I know you don't believe that.
