Your correct, except only 1.5 million acres , I believe is J.V.ed. The rest they're flying themselves . Plus they picked up another 2.1 million acres of which 750,000 acres are located on the craton.
I don't think this is factored into the equation ??
I'm sure the new factor is less than 12 but by how much , is the question ?
I think eventually NCS will J.V. all of their property. This will entail a very extensive drilling program over the next several months. Only NCS can tell us the total number of J.V.'s expected to be up and drilling this summer.?.
The way I look at it is , the more core samples pulled out , the better your odds and I think thats NCS's strategy. Do as many J.V.'s as possible to get your program off the ground .
Ashton's in on 28 million acres but they're doing everything themselves, therefore the process will take more time, although, inevitably , the end result will be the same.
