Hi Shack. Here's a SharpChart for SYB.TO

stockcharts.com[W,A]DACLYIMY[DC][PB10!B50!B200!H.02,.20][VC60][IUB14!LA12,26,9!LP14,3,3!LC20]

Did I do the Chaikin Money Flow setting correctly?

I was successfully into and out of a couple of bio-techs over the past few weeks, BCH and AEL, both on the TSE.
I find it really hard to get a feel for the bio-tech sector.

If I could just find the discipline to trade based on TA exclusively, it wouldn't matter whether I truly understood the company or the sector.

If I adjust my setting on the Stochastic would it be showing oversold, or a buy, on that SYB chart?
As it is, it looks like another down turn being signalled.

As for ECG, like I said, there was unusual buying late in the day, the past two trading sessions. The stock has been thinly traded, the buying through one house seemed to inflate the closing number. There is speculation that an acquisition and some US coverage are imminent.

It might be a good idea to focus some of these TA discussions on the Moving Averages. I plot the 10, 50, and 200 MAs on all of my charts. Looking back, it's amazing how often the 10 day crossing the 50 day has been either a good buy or sell signal.

Anyway, thanks for dropping by.

Hopefully we'll find some trending charts to look at over the coming weeks.

Cush
