I'm a touch worried too that anything less then an absolutely stellar report from Cisco will cause us to go down. How far and for how long is another matter. I can't imagine any event that will trigger market confidence in any meaningful way. Not this year anyway, but I sure hope I'm wrong.

When is your election? I'm not sure I understand the implications of the election on the market. Are you saying if Gore wins, market goes up or if Gore loses, market goes up. As far as one or other of the political parties causing the crash, I think that is certainly within the realm of possibility. However, I don't think they can fix it without lowering interest rates and injecting mega funds into the economy and correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't that kind of action out of the hands of mere politicians?
