Dave- Nice to have you join this thread. I downloaded some research reports last week and have some recent numbers for Bell that I would happy to share with you. My S&P report has it rated as a 5 on a scale of 1-5 for its outlook, with a fair value at 9 3/4 with a high risk rating. Its technical evaluation (which to me is very unimportant) is a 81 out of 99. It has a tangible book value of 3.33 and at this time last year jumped from 6 to 10 in a week or so . I fully expect the stock to have a spike in price. I've owned it for a while and scooped a 1,000 shares at 5 knowing that it could drop further despite its good story and beaten down price. My theory is that if you're truly a contrarian then you should only buy when your full of doubt and nervousness. Not counting the last earnings announcement Bell has had 4 consecutive earnings reports that were increases over the year before. Impressive considering they had 6 prior consecutive down reports. The only reason they were down this one was because of their Mongoose sale. I'm glad they took the big earnings hit instead of letting it drag out for the whole year in little bits and drabs. Their next announcement will be in Mid August and should be in positive territory.
PS. My wife and I have been overseas for the last 8 years: 4 in Cairo, and the previous 4 in Brasil. Now it's time to settle down in Plattsburgh NY. Two more weeks and I'm homeward bound.
Good luck and keep in touch about Bell.
