i had read this post of yours but forgotten that you'd already defined QM...

<<It is
impossible to know simultaneously the position and energy (motion) of every particle in the Universe. >>

Is it a sensible question to ask Why? I mean why is it impossible for an omniscient God to know the position and energy of every particle in the universe?

I grant that I don't take the concept of an omniscient consciousness with an iota of seriousness, but just logically, once you've posited "omniscient," since it's words anyway, and not an actual creature with realistic limitations (the whole thing isn't realistic, it's a philosophical concept), I am not really grasping why one can't posit "I SAID OMNISCIENT, not omniscient except for particles, darn it!"
