. Not enough capacity, says Sony Sony earned $185 million this last quarter. Exxon earned $4.49 billion. That is earnings, not revenues. Just for some perspective when you hear all this PS2 madness. Will the overleveraged, underpaid American consumer (does anyone else in the world buy this stuff?) I just read that America is 25% of the world's consumer electronics market.
