With just a quick overview of the benchmarks on the AMD site, I took away the impression that the improvement was anywhere from 3% to 20%, with the average being around the 4-8% mark.

Not earth shattering but, worth about a 1 to 2 speed grade increase.

For the nominal extra cost of the memory and chip (which no doubt will come down) I say a solid step for AMD and the industry in the right direction.

Additionally, that extra % (be it 3 or 20) will come in handy against the P-IV (either to catch up with it or leave it further behind in the dust as the case may be).
