Hi John Walliker; In the Rambus universe, only a direct admission by Rambus that their technolgy was at fault is evidence everything else is believed only if it is positive for Rambus. Here's a link indicating the problems that Intel found with Rambus, while it was not put out by Rambus, it is indicative of industry rumors at the time: Sources added that when Intel tested the first prototype Rambus boards earlier this year, they discovered problems due to intersymbol interference and power plane noise. theregister.co.uk Go ahead and show me the link where Intel or Rambus explained why it is that they had to scrap all those 3-RIMM motherboards. Clearly there was something wrong. Pretty clear that they were dropping bits. -- Carl
