Now, I know that Tyson said that he was retiring, and that we've been here twice (Douglas, Holyfield stepping up) before. But, here's the blurb - Mike Tyson in line for a belt shot vs. the winner of Lewis-Tua and, quite possibly, Evander Holyfield.

WBC president Jose Sulaiman said the WBC has approved unanimously that Mike Tyson be elevated to the #1 WBC heavyweight ranking following the November 11 Lennox Lewis-David Tua clash. The Lewis-Tua winner must defend against Tyson.

Can you imagine if "Quiet Man" Ruiz had gotten the decision he deserved vs. Holyfield a few months back? I'll pick Tyson at his worst vs. Ruiz at his best as a second round KO for Tyson.

Any thoughts yet, anyone...mr. mark, Jorj, Franco, Quahog...regarding the Tua-Lewis fight? Predictions?

At this point while (as I earlier noted) I'm hoping sincerely for a Tua win, I'm stuck on Lewis in the 6th, KO/TKO/stoppage...subject to change, of course.

Bobby Czyz, incidentally, is firmly of the belief that David Tua can and will take out Lennox Lewis.
