Oblomov, Definitely the one I reviewed, "Power To The People" by Pavel Tsatsouline. Clarence Bass's "Challenge Yourself" is not really a strength book. It is about strength training, bodybuilding, getting lean, nutrition and attitude. It is a great book and Clarence was a competitive weight lifter for much of his life, and I think he has a lot to offer, though you may have to skim through the parts that are not directly about strength. And, not really a book, but a journal, published quarterly, that covers everything from the Olympic lifts to stone lifting and kettlebells. I also very much like Mike Mentzer's "Heavy Duty" books, though they are bodybuilding more than strength.
And for current reading, try www.testosterone.com. Nearly every other issue has a great strength article by one of the monsters from The Westside Gym, where you have to bench 600 pounds in competition to permanently join the club.
