I'm extremely surprised the thread is so quiet about DDR. It's like lots of inflated expectations got popped.


Popped? 10% improvement, and higher on certian specific benchmarks, is great. DDR is a perfect platform for the Athlon.

AMD has really developed the Athlon into a quality name, and this will only continue. The P4 isn't going to rescue Intel, as in return intel to clear dominance. AMD will only increase the size of their piece of the pie.
