Doug, All AMD fans enjoy tom's suite, it changes to whatever makes intel look the worst and amd look the best. I am not sure about that. Athlon looked ok in Anand's SPEC benchmarks. Plus, he was comparing clock for clock, so 1.2 GHz would have additional advantage if Anand tested it. I don't care for SPEC because it is mainly a competition of compilers and optimizations, as opposed to competition of CPUs, chipsets and memory. I prefer more application tests from both Tom and Anand (and Tresh and Sharky) and fewer synthetic tests. Joe
