Sure, it would be nice to get a tax break, but Gore has the smarter plan ... secure Social Security and pay down the national debt. Bush, on the other hand, wants to give the richest rich a huge tax break and put Social Security on shaky footing. People like me are voting Democrat because, unlike you, I don't want my kids to be paying off this huge national debt. I say do it now while we have a little money. The Republicans are on shaky ground in the House, Senate and presidency because they are too much in bed with big business. Which is why they are fighting any suggestion of significant campaign finance reform. Joe Public sees right through that masquerade.
