If you notice the pattern, it runs up after earnings (because earnings continue to improve) then there is a profit-taking sell-on-the-news period, then it kinda settles down before the next earnings run-up... I have traded it that way... It looks like it has now (hopefully) bottomed again before the next run-up... This time the profit-taking has been more due to the overall market environment... Look around, tech stocks and SEMI's in particular have been out of favor for awhile... I'm locked & loaded for the next run-up. Just before last earnings report it did almost the exact same thing... Bottomed out at the $6 3/4 range then ran up over $10 after the report... Earnings are due out mid-Nov. I suspect this Q they'll do maybe $0.55 eps... Just a guess on my part looking at the trend and with the still current shortage of certain semi components, flash memory in particular... CATS is holding up very well today considering the NAZ is getting pounded again... Actually more buyers than sellers today. It really looks like it has bottomed. CY semi looks like it has bottomed also. Good luck
