You could put HID in a bike but it requires all that stuff. Power source of 12 volts and it only draws something on the order of 35 watts per light, so you could run it easy. Slight problem though ..... the aftermarket cost for the real thing is in the range of 2 grand! Ho, ho ho. You got to stick with halogen for a few more years, boy. -g-

No, I'm not kidding on the voltage to my lights. Only lose about 1% from the alternator to them which is quite a bit less than the loss from alt to battery.

I see we have major ramp in progress. This is so predictable. -s-
