Tom, what's the point in comparing it to today's GE? Compare it to an emerging GE if you want to do compare apples to apples. I believe you're confused about Buffett's study. It was wrt the airlines if I recall correctly. "The bears knock dot coms for lack of profits; then knock wildly profitable tech companies for something else." Why the non-sequitor? Regards, Barb
