No, no Prognosticator, I didn't mean to offend with the ridiculous statement. I just wasn't sure that it was obvious to everyone why MSFT was making these investments (gifts?). Of course MSFT had ambitions beyond their initial financial investment. As you noted, they obviously hoped for much more of a return on their investment than appreciation in AT&T stock value. (One minor point, AT&T chose LBRT for a trial, not full deployment yet...) I very much enjoy this WIND thread you guys have created and none of your comments are tautological reason for ignoring them.??? What did you say? Did I get that right...oh my...I have to look this one up... tauto- a learned borrowing from Greek meaning "same". tautology - needless repetition of an idea in different words, as in "widow woman".
