This $100,000 figure keeps popping up and seems to come from some very flawed logic.

I would also think that this figure includes the infrastructure as well.
It's not as simple as dividing number of vehicles into price paid. Certainly the price would include computers, office equipment, furniture, permits, licenses, etc.

How about garages, tools, parts, etc.?
