I don't like selective suffering and selective benefits.

Is it "selective suffering" and "selective benefit" when children of inner city schools like Milwaukee attend inferior schools because their property tax base cannot afford good schools while children of suburban schools enjoy luxurious schools with swimming pools, internet access and better teachers with high salaries? I don't hear George Bush address this question but Al Gore has discussed. I hear the Ohio State Supreme Court just declared that Ohio's method of financing schools with the property tax is unconstitutional because of this kind of disparity. It does seem to be a denial of "equal protection of the laws" and unequal "privileges and immunities". I know the country club class does not really care about funding of the inner city schools but this does seem like a question that will not go away.
