Well, the turn of the century has been designated by a lot of names. Apocalypse was one of them. Nosterdamus predicted events upto the year 2000. He was absolutely quiet about years further on. They say even the pope expects something very decisive at the dawn of the new century.... I'm not a religious junkie....just curious....almost like the proverbial cat !!!
